In addition to my consulting business, I am an author and a podcaster. My passions involve giving back, writing, and talking – about writing!

I’m currently based around Sacramento, California. I was raised as a farm girl in Iowa and got my Creative Writing Degree from Southern New Hampshire University while working full-time.

As a late-in-life Lesbian, I am always eager to speak about Queerness. Most recently, I’ve enjoyed talking to college students (virtually and in-person) about ‘coming out in the workplace’ and I’ve been on several panels for early-in-career professionals talking about being Queer (Gay, etc.) in Corporate America.

If you want to get me talking, offer me a sweet cup of coffee and talk to me about your pets. We have three dogs, Zoey, Luke, & Orion. For those asking who Kya is (from my dedication in Women are from Venus), she was my “soul dog” who passed away in 2022 in a tragic and heartbreaking accident.
